Wily coyote climbs bridge, eludes animal control officers – The Edwardsville Intelligencer

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP)– Authorities state a prairie wolf that reached the top of a Charleston bridge handled to thwart pet control police officers that attempted to record it.

Charleston authorities claim they obtained several telephone calls from vehicle drivers regarding a pet dog on the Don Holt Bridge Thursday, yet policemans understood it was a prairie wolf when they got here.

WCBD-TV records that pet control police officers attempted to catch the prairie wolf, however cancelled the rescue initiative after being not able to reach it.
