It is believed that the new super sports car will be powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six that will produce anywhere between 540 and 580 horsepower, but as the swan-neck rear wing suggests, this is and always has been a car that is more focused on handling supremacy than straight-line bragging rights. Sadly, driver engagement will be limited by the fact that a dual-clutch automatic is expected to be the only transmission option. Of course, Porsche may yet surprise us with three pedals as an option, but in a car as capable as this one, we’d highly recommend keeping both hands on the wheel at all times. Expect a reveal sometime soon with an on-sale date for later this year.
